Site Specific guidelines
The hackathon will take place in the GBCF laboratory at NMIMR.
This lab can accommodate up to 20 participants (first come, first served).
External participants outside NMIMR and the University of Ghana are welcome but should notify the organizers in advance for access arrangements.

Projects
We will work on open issues around nf-core and health genomics relevant to Ghana and Africa, including:
- nf-core/modules: Contributing to module updates, testing, and migration to the latest Nextflow strict syntax with no errors or warnings.
- nf-core/phaseimpute: Supporting development and testing of this pipeline, suitable for contributors at all skill levels.
- Pathogen genomics workflows: Adapting nf-core pipelines for malaria, viral, and antimicrobial resistance genomics applications relevant to NMIMR research programs.
If you and your colleagues are interested in collaborating on a project at the hackathon, feel free to submit a pull request (PR) to include your project. We welcome Ghana- and Africa-focused bioinformatics initiatives.
